Wooden Fired Hot Tub

There are various kinds of wooden hot tubs that are available in stores. What makes them different basically has to do with their shape, size and heating source. There are some hot tubs that use electricity to generate heat in the water just like the acrylic hot tubs. Then there are hot tubs which require you to use a stove that you light up to heat the water. These woodstove based hot tubs are called “Wooden Fired Hot Tubs.” You can buy wooden fired hot tubs for one person or five people. They are the most traditional kind of hot tub because they do not require any electricity or fancy equipment to run it. Instead it provides people with a totally natural hot tub experience by using the flames of a fire to generate heat for the water. This means you don’t have to pay any more money in your electric bill every month. With acrylic tubs, your electric bill would go up another £40-£80 per month. A woodstove produces the same quality heat for no extra costs. All you do is put some burning material, like wood, into the woodstove and light it on fire with a match. Water from the hot tub will circulate through the burning stove and then come back out as hotter water. As it mixes with the colder water, it will create a nice warm balanced temperature.
Wooden fired hot tubs are made in two different ways. They are either made with the woodstoves on the inside of the tub or they are made with the stoves on the outside. Both have their advantages and disadvantages. For example, if you have the woodstove on the interior of the tub then it will take up more room in there. However it will allow the tub to heat up faster and won’t require you to have to stir the water with a paddle to even out the temperatures. As for the exterior woodstove, this provides users with much more legroom inside the hot tub. This is a feature that most people want in their hot tubs, even if it takes longer for the water to heat up. With the woodstove on the outside, you have two tubes connecting from the stove to the tub. One tube sends water from the tub into the stove and the other tube sends it back out as heated water. This heating process takes a little longer, but is worth the wait.
